HGTV's Smart Home 2025 is packed with Southern charm!
PEOPLE can exclusively reveal the modern house with a fun, nostalgic twist is located in San Antonio, Texas, and designed by HGTV's Poonam Moore.
Moore is sharing a first look at the three-bedroom, three-bathroom abode that one lucky fan will get the keys to in the video tour above. Along with the over 3,000-square-foot property, the prize winner will receive a 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC Plug-In Hybrid SUV and $100,000 cash for a total grand prize worth over $1.1 million.
"This home is the perfect mix of fun, luxury, functionality and effortless living," said Moore in a statement. "When designing it, I wanted to blend touches of Midcentury modern influences with a playful Texas twist, creating a fresh, fun stylish aesthetic that sets this home apart.”
The home features a sleek living room that includes dark wooden floors, a "walnut accent wall," a triangular coffee table and spacious seating. A large TV is mounted on the wall above a long row of custom cabinets. The space also has multiple recessed LED lights across the ceiling.
Moore says in the video that the space "really sets the tone for the rest of the home." She praises the room for its bay window – an original feature of the house which was built in the 1950s.

The living room opens into the stunning dining and kitchen area. In the kitchen, stainless steel appliances and light blue-green cabinets abound, and there's an island that can seat four people.
"It's really a great space for the family to gather all the way around with a gigantic island," Moore says, noting that the island also contains the microwave, oven, and a charging station.
The kitchen features several modern features, including a stylish chandelier and a seamless stovetop. It also has two-faucet sink, perfect for meal preparation.
Meanwhile, the dining room has a table that seats eight people and a stacking glass door that leads to the patio, creating a sense of "outdoor-indoor living." The space also has the house's original fireplace, which is lined with two custom bookcases and topped with a smart TV.
Around the corner of the kitchen is a hat wall in a playful nod to the house's Texas roots, along with a minimalistic mudroom and laundry room.

As for the bedrooms on the first floor, there is a guest bedroom right next to a full-sized bedroom. "This room is soft and beautiful. The color palette is welcoming and inviting. What we have here is actually mid-century modern meets a little boho," Moore says. The room features a desk area, an air purifier and a workout mirror loaded with over 2,000 exercises.
Next is the primary bedroom, which has black walls, vaulted ceilings with skylights, and a chandelier. The designer describes the suite and its special features as "luxurious" and "cozy" with a hint of "drama."
The room features "wall-to-wall walnut built-ins" that contain the wardrobe but also hide the en-suite bath. The bedroom has easy access to a private deck that leads to the backyard.
The primary bathroom contains a double vanity with ample space, marbled black tile, a fluted bathtub, a large shower and a chandelier.
Moving upstairs, there is a "multi-purpose" bedroom with a desk that transforms into a bed. The room also has a vintage chair and a side table with a built-in speaker.
Also on the second floor is the media lounge, "perfect for game watching" and movie nights. The room is filled with "plush, oversized" stadium seating, custom side tables and a large console. It also contains basketball wall art, a snack cabinet and shades to effortlessly darken the room.
The second floor also features a "gorgeous catwalk" lined with skylights that leads to an outdoor space.
But it doesn't stop there. The house's backyard has a beige and black basketball court with a smart backboard, a furnished deck with a smart TV, a full outdoor kitchen and an upper deck off a spiral staircase.Additionally, there is a fire pit in the center of the backyard.
