Starting in mid-March 2025, The Magnets, an internationally acclaimed a cappella group, will begin a year-long residency on Valiant Lady. Known for their powerful vocal harmonies, dynamic beatboxing, and inventive mashups, The Magnets have captivated audiences worldwide. Their new performances will be elevated from a guest act to a headline show with bigger production and exclusive shows. This event takes place in The Red Room.
A First for Virgin Voyages
While The Magnets have previously performed across the fleet under the Festival Stage banner, this headline residency is a first for Virgin Voyages. The group will present two rotating shows, featuring a mix of classic hits and unexpected mashups. Their setlist includes crowd favorites like Feeling Good and Minnie the Moocher, along with a fresh take on Can You Feel It by the Jackson 5 blended with Justin Timberlake’s Can’t Stop the Feeling.
Who Are The Magnets?
The Magnets have been redefining a cappella for years, combining vocal precision with high-energy stage presence. Described as “Pitch Perfect with cojones,” the group has brought their unique sound to London’s West End, major music festivals, and theaters worldwide. Their ability to seamlessly transition between musical styles—from rock to soul to pop—sets them apart.
Starting as street performers in Covent Garden, The Magnets quickly rose to fame, signing with EMI and releasing multiple albums. They have supported music legends like Tom Jones, Blondie, and Bryan Adams, and performed at major festivals such as Glastonbury and the Edinburgh Fringe.
