USA WRESTLING INSURANCE REQUIRED
$40 for all insured wrestlers.
$60 for walk-ins. (NO REFUNDS)
Limited to the first 1000 wrestlers must have USA wrestling insurance card www.trackwrestling.com
Registration deadline Thursday November 11th at 10 pm.
Walk in registration only allowed at Lancaster Event Center weigh ins after that if not full.

General Admission - $10 and Children (4 & Younger): FREE
Due to Covid-19 please consider limiting attendance to immediate family members (max of 4),

restrictions set by Lincoln, Lancaster County Health Department guidance. ***
COMPETITION TIMELINE: (30 mins between sessions to allow for cleaning of mats)
Heartland Havoc Individual Tournament SATURDAY, November 13th
Session 1 - Pre-K – K, 1st – 2nd, 3rd – 4th: Start time 8:00 am With PreK-K on 2 set mats/1st-4th
graders will be call to mat (monitors available for wrestling, on-deck, and in the hole)
Session 2 – 5th – 6th, 7th – 8th: Start time 11am or 30 minutes after conclusion of session 1. Call
to mat will be used for all brackets
Session 3 – 9th-12th: start time 3:00 pm or 30 minutes after conclusion of session 2. Call to mat
will be used for all brackets.
WEIGH-IN SCHEDULE:
Weigh in’s will be held Friday November 12th 5-10 pm at the Lancaster Event Center
Satellite weigh in sites:
1. Wrestling With Character practice facility, 17927 Pierce Plaza, Omaha, NE 68130 time TBA
If you would like to host a satellite weigh in, Certified Referee must be present for Satellite
weigh in. Please contact Dave (see below for contact information)

3rd-4th: 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 110, 120, 140, HWT
5th-6th: 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 160, HWT
7th-8th: 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 102, 110, 117, 125, 132, 140, 150, 160, 175, 195, 220, 275

****.2 (singlet) WEIGHT ALLOWANCE FOR ALL WEIGHT CLASSES/DIVISIONS Wrestlers must weigh-in wearing
a singlet.
A referee will inspect wrestlers for the presence of oils or greasy substances on the body, all
jewelry, long fingernails, skin conditions, health and safety measures. Wrestlers suspected of
having skin conditions will not
be allowed to compete without current approval letter/form from a medical doctor.
BRACKETING:
Track wrestling will be used to manage the tournament.
Up to 32-man brackets with double elimination.
Event directors will attempt to pair wrestlers up as fairly as possible trying not to exceed a
weight difference of 10% for the Pre-K – Kindergarten, and up to 20% for HWT brackets
Wrestling will be completed on 10 full mats!

NFHS Wrestling Rules
Length of Periods for Grade Divisions
PreK-4th grade divisions are 60 second periods for all 3 periods on both the championship and
consolation sides.
5th grade and above divisions all 3 periods - 90 seconds, on the championship side and 1st period
60 seconds 2nd & 3rd period- 90 seconds period on the consolation side.
NFHS overtime rules will be used.
HAIR LENGTH & FACIAL HAIR: wrestlers with long hair are strongly encouraged to wear a hair net
during competition. Participants with long or rough beards will be asked to shave before
competition. Please help us maintain a safe environment for everyone.
UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT:
Uniforms: Wrestlers are strongly encouraged to wear a singlet but are allowed to compete in
tight-fitting t-shirts and gym shorts. Tights or compression shorts are allowed to be worn under
the singlet. Equipment: Wrestling shoes and head gear are required. Shoelaces either covered or
taped.
AWARDS & MEDALS:
Custom Awards will be awarded in each bracket depending on bracket size.
**32 and 16-man brackets = top 6 place. Brackets with 8 or less wrestlers = top 4 place. **

**You must be 5th grade and above to wrestle heavier than 100lbs, *maximum 3-year age difference per
weight in dual matches up to 8th graders.
Coaches will set matches before dual starts to verify age difference.
your team can consist of as many team members as you would like to help make matches.
1 match per weight class, Only matches wrestled score. Must be able to fill 12 weights to enter as a team. Round robin pools
of 4 teams then break into divisions BLUE, RED, WHITE, YELLOW CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM: AWARDED PLAQUE AND
CHAMPION T-SHIRTS
WEIGH-IN SCHEDULE:
Weigh in’s will be held Sunday morning before duals November 14th 7-8 am at the Lancaster Event
Center wrestling will start at 9 am
*(Weights will be used for wrestlers that compete Saturday)
EACH TEAM WILL NEED TO SUPPLY 1 PERSON TORUN TABLE DURING THEIR TEAMS DUAL
